M2 Feature

Blue Acoustic; the home of the original M2 System.

Designed in 2014 and released shortly afterwards the M2 has found numerous friends in a relatively short space of time.
The M2 is a super compact touring / gigging system designed to provide faultless sound delivery from a wide variety of sources be they live or pre-recorded.

Clarity is the name of the game throughout the audio spectrum when you use any M2 System so we’ve now expanded the range to include a variety of Powersoft drive sources and power delivery ratings.
We now have the following systems all built in the same size cabinets but, with markedly different power ratings and SPL output.

M2SL – based on a two module drive in the bass cabinet with the top cabinet incorporating a passive crossover.
M2XL – using a powerful Powersoft three way module housed in the bass cabinet.
M2HE – four Powersoft modules, one in each cabinet for three way active drive and amazing level from this compact system.

It’s all in the design, the selection of the components, the methods we use to combine the parts within these amazing systems and of course, the programming of the Powersoft modules.

Nothing is left to chance as such, we only use European built components and amplifier modules.
Hear it for yourself – see the reviews – read what experienced users think of the earlier M2 and the M2S systems.

For starters, all systems are quick and easy to rig – just a few minutes.
They’re just as easy to de-rig.

They use standard 35mm poles and the top cabs can also be tilted down by 5 degrees.
For the drive units we use standard off the shelf components too – no “special parts” or Far-Eastern built OEM components.
The modules are also Powersoft factory built standard parts although they are programmed by Blue Acoustic to enhance the performance of the superior drive units that we incorporate within these cabinets.
And the cabinets – British built to exacting specifications of course.

M2 Systems also use minimal load space in any van or even a modest SUV.
Still loads of room left if you’re using a Transit Connect and in a standard Transit or Sprinter they’ll almost get lost.
These are great little systems that deliver amazing sound quality far more successfully than their size and weight would suggest.
They do it with ease and where systems double their size and weight would find it hard to compete.

There are other dual 6″/1″ systems on the market but we feel that Blue Acoustic has the edge through value for money, reliability and audio quality.
We have our own customised Powersoft modules to drive the three different systems with the certain fact that the customer gets the advantage

More efficient and, using more powerful Powersoft modules with uprated drive units throughout this small range of products the M2 Systems continues to impress those who hear them.
Remember, it’s the same cabinet size in all three versions so you won’t “see” a difference but, you’ll definitely hear it.
